My Slow Cooker Fudge is the easiest recipe for a holiday favorite! Beyond a few simple stirs this recipe is breeze and practically hands-off! Prefect for a cookie tray, or holiday party.
My Slow Cooker Fudge does not get any easier. All the ingredients melt together in the slow cooker to create a rich and delicious treat.
I love using this method because all that I need to do is stir a few times, and the slow cooker takes care of the rest.
I keep my recipe classic with semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condenses milk, vanilla, and a little butter.
I love to top my fudge with a few mini chocolate chips and sometimes a sprinkles! After a quick chill in the fridge, the fudge is ready to cut and perfect for a cookie tray or holiday party!
Ingredients
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips - a bag of semi-sweet and milk works well too.
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Vanilla extract
- Mini chocolate chips or sprinkles for topping
- Unsalted butter - salted butter is fine, but the fudge will have a little salt flavor.
- Slow cooker - a smaller slow cooker can be used, but make sure that you allow the Slow Cooker Fudge more time in the slow cooker.
- 8x8 baking pan
Instructions
- In a 5-6 quart slow cooker, mix together the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and butter.
- Set slow cooker on low and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes to prevent burning.
- Towards the end of the cook time, line and 8x8 pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray or grease with butter.
- Stir the fudge and pour the contents of the slow into the prepared pan.
- Chill in the fridge for 2 hours, or until cooled and set.
- Cut into squares. Store in a covered container for a week in unrefrigerated or 2-3 weeks if kept in the fridge.
