It is hard not to get excited for Christmas and holiday candy this time of year! There are so many delicious homemade goodies! We are chocolate lovers in our house. My husband and sons particularly love peanuts as well. I love to make candy during the holidays, and I especially love a recipe that is a little hands-off and super easy for a sweet treat.

My Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Candy is as easy as they come. Everything goes into the slow cooker and about an hour and a half later of practically hands-free prep besides a few stirs and scoops, and I have delicious little clusters that we can enjoy, or gift to family and friends!

Like I said, this candy is also a great gift. I like to place the candy in mason jars, close, and tie seasonal bow around the lid for a quick and easy gift for a holiday party.

Frequently Asked Questions

My chocolate is not setting- what can I do?

Make sure that you use the correct amount of almond bark or the chocolate may have trouble setting. To help the process, the candy can be placed on a cookies sheet and placed in the fridge to help the chocolate set.

Does almond bark have almond in it?

It does not. There is flavoring in almond bark but it, actually, contains no almonds. It is a vanilla flavored candy coating.

Can I freeze the candy?

Yes, the candy can remain unfrozen 2-3 week, but frozen it will keep for over a year. Simple store the candy in a freezer safe sealable bag.

I can’t believe you made this candy in the slow cooker! Brilliant idea. I need to give it a try. And I also have a weakness for anything with peanuts and chocolate, so I know I would love this Christmas treat!
