One-Bowl Sour Cream Banana Bread is a simple recipe that keep the kitchen clean, and results in the most delicious moist banana bread. Simple ingredients and a sour of sour cream make a bread that everyone will love!
Aren't most of us who enjoy baking always on the hunt for that perfect banana bread recipe? Not the type with the dry tops, but the soft, moist, sweet bread that somehow disappears in a day?
This is the bread for you. It is amazingly moist, and has that perfect soft desirable top on the yummiest breads have.
The ingredients are simple, but I like to add a little sour cream to my banana bread and it gives just the rich amount of richness to my bread. The other awesome thing about this recipe is that it is made in just one bowl. One think I love is having everything in one place and not dealing with multiple bowls of ingredients.
This is also a great recipe for kids because, like I said, one-bowl. It is nice to leave out the pouring and sifting as instructed in other baking recipe and make a minimal mess!
My kiddos and husband love this recipe, and it is one of my kids favorite breads to have for breakfast. They love the eat their bread with a little peanut butter on top and a big glass of cold milk, or when I make it into thick slices of delicious french toast.
I have some super exciting new today! My book, The Serial Killer Cookbook, is available for purchase! I have been working hard for the past year and a half on this cookbook, and the release date is finally here! The cookbook brings your love of true crime into the kitchen with meals ranging from the bizarre (a single unpitted black olive) to the gluttonous (a dozen deep-fried shrimp, a bucket of fried chicken, French fries, and a pound of strawberries), inspired by notorious inmates. I am an avid true crime lover/researcher, and am so excited to share my finished product with you!

You left out some ingredients in your instructions. I'm glad I'm an attentive baker or this could have been a disaster!
Ashley Lecker
I double checked and it looks like there was an mistake with one ingredient, the cinnamon. Thanks for the heads-up- I fixed it! I am positive that it would not have been disaster and you would have still had a delicious loaf.
Angela
I just read the comment about leaving out the cinnamon. I just cannot with that, lololol. Imagine the disaster that could have been!!! -_- Attentive bakers save the world! Ha ha. SMH
