My Honey Butter Skillet Corn is quick, easy, and ready in 20 minutes. Sweet and savory with flavors from salted butter, honey, and cream cheese.
Corn is something I look forward to each summer. There is nothing like fresh sweet corn. I love when I can find it roasted with a butter dip from the fair, but it is the best summer side to have at home too.
My Honey Butter Sweet Corn is one of my favorite quick and easy side dishes. It takes about 20 minutes and is a family favorite.
The recipe is a blank slate for additional add-ins like jalapeno, heavy cream, or even garlic. It is a must make during sweet corn season!
Ingredients
- Corn- I like to use fresh corn on the cob, but frozen corn works great as well.
- Salted Butter
- Honey
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cream Cheese- The cream cheese gives a savory creamy texture to the corn without being too heavy.
- Fresh Parsley
- Rimmed Skillet
Optional Preparation Ideas
- Add a diced jalapeno or diced pickles jalapeno with the corn for a sweet and spicy side dish.
- Include a few tablespoons of heavy cream to the Honey Butter Skillet Corn for an even creamier corn.
- Add a clove of minced garlic with the corn for a honey garlic flavor.
Instructions
- Melt butter into a rimmed skillet. Add corn and stir to coat.
- Cook corn for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add the honey, cream cheese, salt, parsley, and pepper. Stir well.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes and serve.
Storage Options
Store the corn in a container with a lid for up to 3 days. The corn can be frozen and saved for later use.

I'm definitely going to have to try this...the addition of cream cheese sounds yummy...and with hot honey, this would be AMAZING! Guess I'll be buying corn at the farmer's market next week!
