My Pumpkin Pie Twists are a quick and easy fall treat using refrigerated dough and pumpkin puree. Don't forget the whipped cream for dipping!
Ingreidents
- refrigerated crescent roll dough
- pumpkin puree
- pumpkin pie spice
- melted butter
- granulated sugar
- cinnamon
- baking sheet
- silicone baking mat
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Unroll one of the cans of the dough and place on the baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin and the pumpkin pie spice. Spread the pumpkin evenly over the dough.
- Top the pumpkin layer with the dough from the second can. Make sure that the are even and the edges touch.
- Use a pizza cutter to cut 15 strips. Twist each strip. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together.
- Brush the twists with melted butter and top with the cinnamon sugar.
- Place in the oven and bake for 12 minutes. The tops should be golden brown. Add additional time if needed.
- Remove from oven and serve with whipped cream topped with pumpkin pie spice.
