My Air Fryer Bell Peppers are tender, seasoned, and perfectly blistered. A delicious veggie side or use them in a salad, burrito, or fajitas!

I love grilled peppers during the summer, but you actually do not need a grill (not summer weather) to make my super simple Air Fryer Bell Peppers.

The air fryer creates the perfect sweet and tender pepper with the perfect amount of charred blistering. I love to use these for a taco salad or a burrito bowl. I really enjoy topping my Grilled Steak and Potato Salad with these peppers. They are also delicious chopped and in a breakfast casserole like my Meat Lover's Breakfast Casserole.

This is an air fryer recipe that could not be more simple: chop some peppers, toss with oil and seasoning, toss in the air fryer, wait 14 minutes, and you have delicious perfectly cooked peppers.

Ingredients

Bell Peppers- any color will do. I tend to prefer the sweeter peppers.

Olive oil- vegetable, corn, avocado.... really any oil is just fine. Any oil infused with flavor like garlic or herbs is delicious as well.

Salt

Black Pepper

Air Fryer

What Seasoning to Use?

I like a simple salt and pepper for a traditional taste. However, chili powder, garlic powder, dried herbs, or paprika are delicious. Any additional spices can be applied in the same way the salt and pepper would be added.

Instructions

  1. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell peppers. Slice the sections vertically into ½-3/4 inch pieces.
  2. Place peppers in a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place bell peppers into the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 14 minutes at 400°F. Shake the basket at the halfway point to evenly cook. Peppers should have some char marks when cooking in complete.
