Legit favorite burger. If is even sans pickles which is even more shocking because I love pickles on my burger.
This burger is so simple too- no gimmicks or long ingredient preps. Simple seasoned ground beef, cheese, crispy bacon, and a finger-licking sauce.
I use a simple ranch seasoning packet in this burger and it gives it so much flavor! I have a love for ranch seasoning packets as I use them in my Taco Ranch Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole, and Dilly Ranch Oyster Crackers. However, this burger is the winner for me.
I love the herby ranch flavors mixed with the heat from the chipotle salsa. The pepper jack cheese adds and additional spice, but can easily be subbed for a different cheese. The smokey crispy bacon on top is the perfect crunch, and is is all sandwiched between two toasted burger buns. So delicious!
My husband calls these the "Wow burgers", because after one bite all you say is "wow!"- I can't argue with that logic!
This is also a great recipe because it is completely weeknight friendly, and very simple to put together for a quick meal.

What do you need to make a Grilled Chipotle Ranch Burger?
- ground beef
- bacon
- packet of ranch seasoning
- pepper jack cheese
- burger buns
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 2 tbsp canned chipotle salsa
- meat thermometer- I am in love with the ThermoPop from ThermoWorks!
Isn't it great to see such a simple line-up of ingredients! This recipe is also great because aside from the meat and cheese it is using non-perishable pantry items!
How do you make Grilled Chipotle Ranch Burgers?
- In a bowl, combine ranch and chipotle salsa. Mix well. Cover and set aside.
- Preheat a grill to medium high. Place beef in a bowl and add the ranch seasoning. Gently mix by hand. Form beef into 4 burger patties.
- Place burgers on the grill to cook. Flip when burgers temp at about 115°F. Place a slice of cheese on each burger. Cook until burger temp is at 145-150°F for a medium-well burger.
- Remove from the grill and place on a plate. Tent with foil and place burger bun halved on the grill for about 20-30 seconds to lightly toast the buns.
- Remove buns. Place a little of the chipotle ranch sauce on the bottom bun. Place burger on the bun. Top with bacon and more sauce. Enjoy.

- 1.25 lb ground beef
- 8 slices cooked crispy bacon
- 1 oz packet of ranch seasoning
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 4 burger buns
