Cranberry Margaritas are a perfect way to kick off fall and the holiday season. A simple margarita mix, cranberry juice, and tequila make a perfect party drink!
It is not secret that I love margaritas. I have a bunch of different flavors listed below that we make at home from cucumber to tart cherry. They are one of my favorite things to sip on, and I love to make them year round.
This is my recipe for Cranberry Margaritas and they are so simple and so delicious. This drink is nice and tart, but still sweet and smooth. I like to use a sweetened cranberry juice over unsweetened. The unsweetened juice is also good, but gives a tart drink- also delicious.
These are one of my favorite drinks for entertaining. Like most margaritas- the ease of the drinks is great. However, this drink is even better because I use a juice over making my own puree. So simple and so easy! Plus, it is festive for the holidays.
I like to serve these with fresh cranberries, but I like to step it up a bit and serve it with my Sugared Cranberries. They are soaked in a simple syrup, rolled in baker's sugar, and set to dry to make a poppable delicious treat that captures all the cranberry goodness!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to use silver tequila?
I honestly prefer it, and have not tested this recipe with a different type of tequila.
Should I use unsweetened cranberry juice?
I use a traditional sweetened juice, but that is because I like this drink on the sweet side. However, unsweetened works well, but the drink will be a little on the tart side.
Do I need the fresh cranberries?
I like to use them as garnish or I like to garnish with my Sugared Cranberries.
