Grilled juicy burgers topped with creamy Gouda cheese, smokey bacon, and a Dijon mayo sauce make an cravable summer burger.

Summer grilling- there is nothing like it. We grill all year, but it is always nice when you don't have to freeze your buns off for a tasty burger!

One of my favorite burgers is my Grilled Bacon Gouda Burger. Gouda cheese is mild and creamy. It works so well with smokey bacon, and a delicious addition to any burger.

I serve my Grilled Bacon Gouda Burgers with a dijon-mayo sauce. I keep it simple with mustard and mayo, but I like to add in a little hot sauce and sugar. It gives and extra depth to the sauce, but it is optional if you prefer a straight mayo and mustard combo.

A well seasoned burger, creamy cheese, smoky crisp bacon, and a flavorful sauce makes this a delicious addition to your grilling arsenal.

LET'S TALK GOUDA!

Gouda is a cheese originating from the Netherlands. Gouda cheese is made from cow's milk and mild.

Currently, Gouda is one of the most popular cheeses worldwide.

This popular cheese is not named just for the city it was made in, but because it was also heavily traded in Gouda, South Holland. Cheese making, during the early years it was made, was also traditionally a woman's job. Recipes and practices were passed on to daughters from their mother's.

Grilled burgers get made at least once a week around here during the summer months so I am always happy for new ideas.

Why have I never put gouda on a burger before? And the dijon mayo mix sounds amazing, I would put it on so many things. I will definitely have to give it a try.
