Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken

My Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken is a copycat recipe from Longhorn Steakhouse. Grilled marinated chicken topped with a cheesy ranch sauce and toasted crumb topping.

Ingredients

  • boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • provolone cheese

For Marinade:

  • olive oil
  • ranch dressing
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • apple cider vinegar
  • lemon juice
  • garlic

Ranch Spread:

  • grated Parmesan
  • ranch dressing
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder

Panko Topping:

  • panko bread crumbs
  • garlic powder
  • butter

Instructions

For Chicken:

  1. Whisk ingredients for marinade in a bowl. Place chicken in a plastic bag and pour marinade over chicken. Marinate in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Heat grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinate and grill chicken 3-5 minutes per side or until no longer pink (this will depend on size and thickness of the chicken breast). The internal temperature when take with a meat thermometer should be 165°F.
  3. Remove chicken from grill and place on a baking sheet.

Ranch Spread:

  1. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the ranch spread and parmesan crumb topping.
  2. For the ranch spread, mix grated Parmesan, pepper, garlic powder, and ranch dressing. Set aside.

Crumb Topping:

  1. For crumb topping, mix bread crumbs, garlic powder, and butter. Set aside.

Assembly:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Top each chicken breast with a slice of provolone cheese.
  3. Next, evenly distribute the ranch spread between the chicken.
  4. Finally, evenly add the crumb topping to each chicken breast.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and the breadcrumbs to toast on the Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken.

Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken

For Marinade:
