McCain has a new product: Quick Cook Fries. They come in three varieties for different family favorite recipes.; crinkle cut, waffle cut, and straight cut. These fries cook in half the time* (less oven cook time compared to McCain’s traditional fries), and do not require any flipping.
I love that I can set a quick timer and when it dings- out come perfectly cooked and crispy fries. These are a game changer for a busy family! "Faster to Prepare. Easier to Share."
One dish I love to make is my Quick and Easy BLT Fries. These fries are perfect for using delicious and fresh summer produce. I chose McCain fries for this recipe because they are 100% real potatoes, and are made with no artificial flavors. That means natural potato goodness you’ll be proud to serve to your family.
Quick and Easy BLT Fries are cooked till they are crispy, topped with Monterrey jack cheese, crispy bacon, chopped romaine, and green onion, fresh tomatoes, and a creamy ranch seasoned mayo.
If you love BLTs you must try this recipe- your taste buds will be in BLT bliss! My family loves when I make these and the tray is devoured in no time at all!

McCain has a fantastic variety for products, but make sure you grab the quick cooking fries because they require less oven cook time compared to McCain’s traditional fries.
Ingredients
- 1 (20 oz) bag of McCain Quick Cook Fries - crinkle cut, straight cut, or waffle cut all work great for Quick and Easy BLT Fries.
- Monterrey Jack Cheese - Mozzarella or pepper jack cheeses are great alternatives
- Bacon - pre-cooked bacon works really well because it is fast to crisp in the oven
- Romaine Lettuce
- Green Onion
- Tomatoes - I like to quarter cherry tomatoes for this recipe
- Sour Cream - Greek yogurt is a great substitution
- Mayo
- Ranch Seasoning - this product can be purchased by the salad dressing.
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
- Spread frozen fries in a single layer on a dark, non-stick baking sheet or shallow baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes- no flipping.
- While fries bake, prepare the ranch sauce. Mix together the mayo, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. Spoon into a plastic bag and set aside.
- Sprinkle cheese and bacon over the fries. Return the baking sheet to the oven and back an additional 2 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
- Remove from oven and top with chopped romaine and slices green onions.
- Add chopped tomatoes.
