My Pineapple Bourbon Lemonade uses tart lemons and sweet pineapple combine with rich bourbon to make a simple 3-ingredeint cocktail.
Pineapple Bourbon Lemonade is a simple drink that satisfies sweet, tart, and rich flavors.
The mixture of pineapple and bourbon works really well because the sweetness cuts the bourbon. The lemonade creates a tart and fresh factor in the drink to balance the booze and sweet pineapple flavors.
Typically, I have all three of these ingredients on hand and it is easy to quickly put together. I love to use fresh pineapple juice, but canned juice with a simple store bought lemonade works great.
Pour the drink over some ice, or make extra servings to serve to a group. This is an easy drink to adapt if you aren't drinking alcohol, or don't care for bourbon. Vodka, whiskey, or brandy are great substitutes.
A fun serving option! I have made this drink before, leaving out the alcohol, let it sit in the freeze for about 30 minutes and used a fork to shave the ice. I added to a cup and then added the alcohol to make a yummy slushie version of this drink.
