Frequently Asked Questions
My dough is sticking together- what can I do?
As you place the dough into the bundt pan tear it into bite sized pieces. Bread dough will stick together more than the canned biscuits, but the result is a much fluffier flavorful monkey bread.
Can I use other pizza toppings?
Sure! I advise pre-cooking any raw veggies or sausage before adding it to the bread.
I can't find mini pepperoni- what can I use?
Regular sized will work just fine. Just cut the pepperoni into quarters.
Can I cook this is a 9x13 baking dish?
Yes, but the bake time will be less. Start with 20 minutes and check the bread before increasing the bake time. The top should be browned and bread cooked completely.
How do I warm the bread if I make it in advance?
I place mine on a plate and warm it in the microwave for about 45 seconds.

J loves pizza and this would be such a great after school snack!
Karen
You pretty much nailed this one. I am in awe. That cheese and pepperoni is calling my name.
Danielle
There is no such thing as "too much pepperoni". This pepperoni recipe is a good solid proof 🙂 BTW, when I combine pepperoni with melted cheese, I get really suspicious - it is too good to be true.
Irene
Never made monkey bread before so this may be a stupid question. Do you use the dough raw or do you cook the rolls and then tear apart.
CheeseCurdInParadise
The dough is raw and then everything is baked together.

I'm craving pizza now and bread too. This week's episode of the Great British Bake Off was all about bread and tear and share bread was one of the challenges. This would have fitted right in.

If you ask me, what the best kind of pizza is, I will probably say: Pepperoni Pizza - for its taste, for the feeling you get when you bite the first piece (and the last one) and just for the way it is. Yum!

I love this idea! We love to play board games in our family, and we all want real food - not just snacks - when we play, but I'm always worried about getting food and grease stains on the game pieces. I'd totally serve this pizza bread up on a big platter and give everyone an individual dip and a fondue pick so that they can pick up the bread, dip it, and eat it, without getting any food on the game! Sounds like a great idea, right?
Ashley Lecker
I love that idea!

Do you need to let the dough rise before baking this or just put in oven after assembling pizza monkey bread?
Ashley Lecker
Just put it into the oven.
