Do you love traditional Italian subs? You will love my Italian Sub Salad- all the flavors minus the bread! Fresh cheeses, meats, and veggies. Tossed in a tangy cream Italian dressing.
Ingredients
For Salad:
- shredded iceberg lettuce
- shredded romaine lettuce
- thin sliced ham
- salami
- pepperoni
- sliced black olives
- green olives
- fresh mozzarella pearls
- grape tomatoes
- jarred pepperoncini
- dried oregano
- grated parmesan cheese
For Dressing:
- extra virgin olive oil
- red wine vinegar
- mayonnaise
- honey
- salt
- black pepper
- italian seasoning
- garlic powder
Instructions
For Dressing:
- Whisk all ingredients into a bowl. Set aside while the salad is prepared. The dressing can be made 3 days in advance and stored in a sealed container in the fridge.
For Salad:
- Place lettuce in a large bowl. Make sure the bowl is big enough to fit all ingredients and to toss in the dressing.
- Top with mozzarella, pepper, meats, tomatoes, and olives.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss to evenly coat. Sprinkle grated parmesan and dried oregano on the top of the Italian Sub Salad and serve.

- ⅔ cup pepperoni, halved
- 2.25 oz sliced black olives
- ¼ cup sliced green olives
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella pearls
- ¾ cup halved grape tomatoes
- ⅓ cup jarred pepperoncini, chopped
- ½ tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsps mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
