My Strawberry Shortcake Fluff is packed with strawberries, angel food cake, and marshmallows. Paired with a creamy vanilla base- perfect for summer parties, 4th of July, or Memorial day.

My Strawberry Shortcake Fluff recipe is really simple and uses vanilla pudding to create a fruit salad dressing that is creamy and delicious. Fresh seasonal strawberries and light airy angel food cake create flavors of a summer dessert favorite.
This is a great side dish for a get together with friends or fun treat to enjoy with the family during a little evening television watching. My kids love when they see me making this side dish. I think anytime they see recipes with strawberries or marshmallows they get excited!
This side takes under 15 minutes to put together and a quick chill in the fridge before serving. Super easy and super delicious.
Ingredients
- instant vanilla pudding- I like to use French or regular vanilla. A cheesecake flavor would be delicious as well!
- milk- I prefer using whole milk in pudding based recipes.
- whipped topping
- mini marshmallows
- angel food cake- I found that a loaf of angel food cake is the right amount for Strawberry Shortcake Fluff versus the larger rounds.
- strawberries
Instructions
- Whisk milk into the dry pudding mix in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk for 2 minutes. The pudding will thicken and begin to set.
- Add the whipped topping and whisk till smooth.
- Gently stir in the marshmallows, cake, and strawberries.
- Cover and place in the fridge for at least 45 minutes. The fluff can be make a day in advance is needed.
