The sloppy joe has a new twist! My Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe is filled with tender ground beef, peppers, onion, steak sauce, and seasoning. Topped with a creamy and rich cheese sauce and served on a toasted bun makes a new family favorite! This sandwich is perfect for the weeknight because many of the ingredients are likely already in your pantry!
March 18th is National Sloppy Joe Day and I am celebrating with this delicious and unique take on one of my favorite weeknight sandwiches! I love easy meals that I have most of the ingredients on hand because it makes my hectic nights a lot more manageable. Plus, anytime that I can use pantry items versus a last minute run to the store is a big win in my book.
These sandwiches are great because it is a breeze to make the meat- just add the meat, peppers, onions, and a few extras to the pan and I am done. The cheese sauce is really thick and packed with rich flavor that captures the flavors of the famous cheesesteak sandwich!

That cheese sauce looks fantastic. And the meat a little bit like a tavern sandwich. I love those! This is a must-try.

These truly have my name written all over them! I even have a recipe similar on my blog. I love all the cheesy, bell pepper-y, beefy goodness that is in this recipe. Totally adding it to the must make list! Once I can find ground beef again. LOL
