My Grilled Sweet Potatoes In Foil are a delicious and simple summer side dish. Cubed well seasoned sweet potatoes cooked simply on the grill in a foil packet.

I am a sweet potato lover, and my Grilled Sweet Potatoes in foil are incredible. I love to grill veggies as the weather gets warmer- easy prep, and little mess!
I use a very simple seasoning blend on my potatoes. Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, cinnamon make a delicious savory spice blend that works great with the sweet potatoes.
Grilling the sweet potatoes in a foil packet creates a mess free and hands off cooking process (besides a few flips).
I love to serve these with grilled pork, chicken or fish. My Grilled Balsamic Honey Pork Tenderloin is one of my favorite recipes to serve with these potatoes.
Ingredients
- raw sweet potatoes (about 2 large sweet potatoes)- the amount of potatoes can be changed depending on how many you are feeding.
- olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- cinnamon
- paprika
- garlic powder
- chili powder
- aluminum foil - I like to get a heavy duty good quality foil so it does not tear.
Instructions
- Take two large pieces of foil and arrange them on top of each other.
- Add 2 tablespoon of oil to the center of the foil.
- In a bowl, toss potatoes with remaining oil and all seasonings.
- Place potatoes in the middle of the foil and fold foil to the center to create a fully sealed packet.
- Heat grill to medium-high heat. Place packet on the grill for 20 minutes. Flip the packet halfway into the cook time. Serve.

I love sweet potatoes and I've never done them on the grill, kind of crazy. Can't wait to give these a try!

I love me a sweet potato. They're my favorite simply roasted with savory herbs and spices in there. I love that you didn't use brown sugar in there. They're sweet as is!
