Spring Sweets Week is still going strong!
What is it about chocolate and coffee that makes such an amazing combination? I love the flavor and am so excited to share this recipe!
This recipe is a twist on my favorite chocolate chunk brownies recipe, and I use my favorite simple chocolate buttercream frosting. These brownies are chewy and rich. The frosting is light, but still creamy and full of chocolaty flavor. I use coffee grounds in both the brownie and frosting in this recipe and it is so delicious!
If you have not tried your hand at brownies from scratch it is worth it. However, what I even love more is this buttercream recipe because it takes minutes, and the flavor is so chocolaty, and texture so creamy and smooth. I use Brownie Batter flavored coffee from Door Country Coffee & Tea Co., and it is so delicious and the perfect flavor.
I must tell you more about our sponsor, Door County Coffee & Tea. This is a Wisconsin company, which thrills me, but I love working with them because I have been a forever fan and enjoyed this coffee for many years. Our family owns a cottage in Door County and we are about 20 minutes from Door County Coffee & Tea. It is one of my favorite places to stop and I love their little cafe inside. If you follow me on Instagram you probably have noticed that I frequently post what flavor my Mom and I are enjoying in the morning.
Door Country Coffee & Tea is soooooo generous to us, and I love that I see my blogging friends trying the different flavors! If you even take a trip to Door County make sure to stop here- they even have a drive-thru- and grab some coffee to try.
