Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Carrots

  • 16 oz bagged baby carrots
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon cornstarch


  • Place carrots into a 3-4 quart slow cooker. If you use a larger size there will be a shorter cooking time.
  • Top with butter, sugar, salt, pepper, chili powder, and cinnamon.
  • Place cover on the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • During the last 30 minutes stir in the cornstarch. Put cover back on and cook and additional 30 minutes.
  • Serve.
