Ham and Cheese Gnocchi Skillet

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cups ham diced
  • 1 cup water
  • 16 oz package gnocchi
  • ¾ cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish


  • Heat the olive oil in a large oven safe skillet. Add onions to skillet and cook until tender. Add ham to skillet and cook until ham is heated and starting to slightly brown.
  • Add peas to skillet and stir. Add gnocchi to skillet, water, pepper, and heavy cream. Stir and let cook for about 6-7 minutes. The gnocchi should be tender and sauce thickened.
  • Top with cheeses and place skillet under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes until cheese is melted and starts to brown.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
