Chicken Sausage with Apples

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ¾ cup shredded granny smith apples (about 2 large apples)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Place chicken, apples, and all seasoning into a medium bowl.
  • Mix well with your hands and form into 10 sausage patties.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon of olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken sausage in batches of 5, flipping after 3 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Repeat with remaining sausages. Serve.
