Slow Cooker Chicken Teriyaki Sandwiches and Pineapple Slaw

Teriyaki Chicken

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ cup water

Pineapple Slaw

  • 3 ½ cups coleslaw mix
  • ½ cup mayo
  • cup pineapple tidbits
  • 1 ½ tsp spicy chili garlic sauce (like Siriracha)
  • Buns


Teriyaki Chicken

  • For chicken, place chicken in the slow cooker. In a medium bowl whisk together soy sauce, ginger, garlic, onion powder, honey, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and water. Pour over chicken, Cook on low heat 6-7 hours.
  • When chick is done cooking remove from slow cooker an shred. Place chicken back in the slow cooker, and set to keep warm. 

Pineapple Slaw

  • Place all slaw ingredients in a medium bowl and gently stir until evenly mixed. 


  • Place chicken on a bun and top with pineapple slaw. Enjoy!
