No-Peek Beef Tips

  • 2 ½ - 3 lb beef stew meat
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • .87 oz packet brown gravy mix
  • 1.25 oz packet Lipton dry onion soup mix
  • 1 ½ cup reduced-sodium beef broth


Oven Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F. Place cubed meat in a 9 x 13 baking dish or a medium dutch oven.
  • In a large bowl, mix the soup, gravy mix, onion soup mix and water together. Pour over the meat and toss to combine.
  • Cover the dish tightly with foil or cover with dutch oven lid. Bake for 3 hours. Remember, no peeking!

Slow Cooker Instructions

  • Place beef in the slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients together.
  • Pour over the beef and cover.
  • Cook on low heat 7-8 hours or high heat for 4-5 hours.

Instant Pot Instructions

  • Set pressure cooker to sauté setting. Add a tablespoon of oil to the instant pot.
  • Add beef and brown on both sides.
  • Mix remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl. Turn off the sauté function and pour contents of the bowl over the beef. Stir.
  • Cover and set to not venting. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Allow the pressure cooker to naturally release for 10 minutes before manually releasing the pressure. Serve .
