Slow Cooker Sausage Stuffing

  • 1 lb ground pork sausage
  • 14 oz dried bread stuffing mix
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 medium white onion, diced
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • cup dry white wine
  • 3 cup chicken broth


  • Brown sausage in a medium skillet until no longer pink and it has crumbled.
  • Place sausage in a 6 qt slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir.
  • Cook on low for 2-3 hours. Stir halfway to prevent scorching.


Stuffing can be made a day in advance before cooking in the slow cooker. Store covered in the fridge. 
The slow cooker heat can be adjusted to the warm setting once cooking is completed
