Texas Roadhouse Green Beans

  • 6 slices bacon, cut into little pieces
  • 32 ounce cans green beans, drained
  • cup onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp pepper


  • Place chopped bacon in a large rimmed skillet on med-high heat until completely cooked.
  • Remove bacon from pan and drain.
  • Add green beans, bacon, chicken broth, butter, onion, garlic, and sugar to skillet.
  • Bring to a simmer, and then lower heat to medium-low.
  • Cover the skillet and let simmer about 10 minutes, or until green beans are tender.
  • Serve.
