One-Pot Ham and Cheese Pasta {Leftover Ham Recipe}

Ingredients

  • 1 lb penne (or similar shaped) pasta, uncooked
  • 2 cups chopped ham
  • 3 ¼ cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 ½ cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Place pasta, ham, chicken broth, and milk into a large pot.
  • Simmer the pasta till tender, about 10-12 minutes. Make sure to stir the pasta every 4-5 minutes to prevent it from sticking.
  • When pasta is tender add the cheese and stir gently till melted. Season with pepper and salt if desired. Serve immediately.
