Meat Lovers Breakfast Casserole

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 ⅔ cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 10 slices cooked chopped bacon, divided
  • ½ cup chopped sliced ham
  • 7 uncooked breakfast sausages, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided


  • Cut the bread into cubes. Lightly grease a 9x13 casserole dish and evenly place bread into the baking dish.
  • Place chopped bacon over bread, but reserve 2 chopped slices for topping. Next, top with ham, and finish with the uncooked sliced sausage.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and pepper. Pour mixture evenly over the bread and milk. Top with ½ cup cheddar cheese.
  • Cover casserole and place in fridge. Allow casserole to sit for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from fridge when ready to bake. Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Uncover and top with remaining 1 cup of cheese and remaining chopped bacon. Bake uncovered for 50 minutes. The center should still slightly jiggle when you remove it from the oven. Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
