Heat olive oil in a large rimmed skillet over medium heat.
Add sausage and brown on both sides. Add garlic and stir until golden, about 20-30 seconds.
Add broth, tomato sauce, cream, tortellini, and stir to combine. Bring to a light simmer.
Cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes until tortellini are tender and sauce has reduced.
Notes
The sauce will become thicken as the pasta cools. Half and Half can be substituted, but it will result is a slightly thinner sauce. Recipe adapted from: Kevin and Amanda
