Instructions
In a large pot, cook the onions and the olive oil together until the onions are tender.
Add the cabbage, and cook for about 8-10 minutes. The cabbage will reduce in volume.
Add the salt, sugar, nutmeg, and pepper. Stir to evenly mix.
Add the apples, vinegar, and cider. Allow the cabbage to simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve as a side dish or a main meal. Enjoy!
