Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tbsps fresh lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together mayo, zest, juice, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Add chicken to the bowl. Toss to evenly coat in the mayo mixture. Allow chicken to rest in the fridge for 40 minutes.
  • After chicken has rested in the fridge prepare the grill. Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Grill chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the chicken's internal temperature reaches 165° Fahrenheit (75° Celsius).
  • Remove from grill. Tent with foil and rest for 2-3 minutes. Serve.
