In a 9x13 pan place tomatoes in an even layer. Season with salt and pepper, and top with olive oil.
Place feta in the middle of the baking dish. Top with a little additional olive oil and minced garlic.
Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
While sauce cooks, cook the pasta according to package instructions. When tender drain, but keep 1 cup of pasta water for the sauce.
Remove feta and tomatoes from the over. Top with fresh chopped basil and stir.
Add the pasta and stir to coat with sauce. Add pasta water to the sauce gradually to allow the sauce to cover more of the pasta. You might not use all the pasta water.
