Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1.25 oz taco seasoning packet
  • 1 ½ cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • cup chopped tomatoes
  • 4 oz can sliced black olives
  • 2 scallions thinly sliced
  • Tortilla chips

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning.
  • Spread taco mixture onto a large circular serving platter (you could also use a pie pan if you want to base a little thicker).
  • Top evenly with cheddar cheese. Add lettuce, tomatoes, and black olives. Top with scallions. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

To Create A Warm Dip:
Layer creamy base into an oven safe baking dish, like a pie plate. Top with cheese and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes. Top with desired toppings.
To add meat to the dip, place a layer of cooked taco meat, ground beef, or shredded chicken on top of the creamy base. Top with cheese. Follow warming instructions above.
