In a medium bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning.
Spread taco mixture onto a large circular serving platter (you could also use a pie pan if you want to base a little thicker).
Top evenly with cheddar cheese. Add lettuce, tomatoes, and black olives. Top with scallions. Serve with tortilla chips.
Notes
To Create A Warm Dip:Layer creamy base into an oven safe baking dish, like a pie plate. Top with cheese and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes. Top with desired toppings. To add meat to the dip, place a layer of cooked taco meat, ground beef, or shredded chicken on top of the creamy base. Top with cheese. Follow warming instructions above.
